The project is located inside a well-established residential context. The project proposes the building renovation through maintenance of the existing perimeter walls on north, east and south side close to some residential buildings, the demolition of the central part of the existing building and the construction of a library as a volume contained within the old building’s height limits and developed partly above and partly under the ground.
