格尔木市新区体育场位于格尔木新区的中央地带，临近纵横两条发展轴线。该项目由D. Delfino先生主导设计而成。

项目的灵感起源于闻名遐迩的昆仑山脉以及察尔汗盐湖，意在以面对岁月流逝，沧海桑田而岿然不动的巍峨昆仑，体现其奋斗不息的精神。作为格尔木的特色元素，盐湖被融入设计之中，也在各部分的设计中分别汲取了盐晶，盐末，盐盖，与盐雕的灵感。最终，呈现出一座秉持了对自然元素的尊重与融入的重要城市地标。

The sports stadium in Golmud City is situated in the central area of Golmud New District, near the intersection of two major development axes. The project is designed by the principal architect Mr. D. Delfino.

The inspiration for this project originates from the renowned Kunlun Mountains, which are known as their far and wide. It aims to embody the unyielding spirit of the Kunlun Mountains, which stand steadfast in the face of the passage of time and changing landscapes. As one of the primary attractions in Golmud City, the salt lake is an unique natural feature of the area. This project incorporates the distinctive element into its design, drawing inspiration from salt crystals, particles, crusts, and sculptures in various parts of the design. It presents an important urban landmark that respect and integrate with the natural elements.
